About the Artist - Gail Piccoli

My business began with an imagination stocked with ideas. Loving glass in its raw form, color, texture, and the way light brings it to life — I think of my pieces as not taking themselves too seriously — just a fun twist on what we already see and maybe things we can only imagine.

The organic beauty of glass with the incorporation of open space is a perfect compliment to the natural shapes found in my work.

Small nuggets of glass, wire and open space are some of the details used in many of my pieces.

All designs are my own imagination and assembled personally, using traditional stained glass copper foil techniques. Most of the art glass I use is hand rolled and textured.

I am very blessed to live in a wildly beautiful place full of rich geological shapes and shadows. Everything is an influence. I hope you enjoy the work, and see your own places in them.

Luna Bella Studio is in its sixth year of business and I have enjoyed creating pieces for all my customers coast to coast and even overseas.
